The American Shorthair is a medium sized, hearty cat, with a thick water resistant coat. They are easy to care for and adapt quickly to new settings.
We prefer to raise our cats underfoot which makes them dog and child friendly.
Here at Asmara Dana we spend a great deal of time with our cats to ensure that they are in the best form possible. They are a part of our family: which we wish to share with others.

Asmara Dana’s American Shorthair Cats and kittens compete in Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) against the best cats in the world. We mostly compete in the Singapore. We hope to show in The International Cat Association (TICA) in the future.

We are now taking deposits for the reservation of our American Shorthair kittens. A deposit of SGD$600.00 will reserve your kitten of your choice upon on a first come first serve basis and also according to color and quality. When the kittens are old enough, we will contact you in the order that we receive deposits for a personal visit to choose your kitten, or you may visit our website and choose from the photos of kittens that are available. We will update kitten photos periodically.

We will ship kittens, if necessary, and send photos for the selection of your kitten. Deposits are non-refundable if you decide not to select a kitten that is available. Pricing varies depending on the quality of the kitten. We take most bank transfer.

Kitten selection is based on the order in which we receive your deposit.
As stated above we do ship our American Shorthair kittens to customers.
Of course we would prefer to meet all potential pet owners, but we understand that this is not always possible. Shipping arrangements will be made during the purchasing process.

We are always available to answer questions about general care for your kitten and to help you make the transition go smoothly. We welcome pictures, emails, and updates on how your kitten is progressing even into adulthood.
